Wills is 11 and in Yr 6 of Primary School which a  real leap to independence with acceptances to Senior Schools looming and also a big time of transition as friends may be moving far afield at the end of the Summer Term.

Our school is very family orientated and we have an untold number of very creative parents. When the homework came home on Friday after school to cook their favourite meal for supper over the weekend, one very clever Mum whizzed an email round with the fantastic idea of crating a keepsake Year 6 Cookery Book.

Having originally planned on waxing lyrical about how to serve caviar, in the end he opted for a family favourite: Pasta a la Carbonara - without the raw eggs stirred in however as we have an allergy sufferer in our household.

Wills proudly popped round to the shop to get the final ingredients for his dish, donned his London Fine Foods Group apron and got busy in the kitchen, here is his recipe for you all to enjoy!

How to make Pasta Carbonara

Today I am going to show you how to make the classic Italian dish Pasta Carbonara. In my family we don’t like to waste food so I do not have any pacific weight requirements.
This dish is also fun to make and is amazing to eat.
